Prepare for an unforgettable weekend of judo as Ki Young JEON, 1996 Olympic Champion, 3x World Champion, and a member of the Fighting Films Superstar Team, visits Scotland for a two-day training seminar. This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of the most accomplished judoka in history.

Sensei JEON will demonstrate the world-class techniques and strategies that made him a dominant force on the international stage. He’ll also provide insights into the training methods that keep Team Korea among the strongest judo nations in the world.
Fresh from his role as a judo commentator for Korean national TV at the Rio 2016 Olympics, JEON will also share his firsthand experiences and observations from the Games.
This seminar is open to all ages and skill levels, from beginners to black belts. Whether you're looking to sharpen your competition game or gain inspiration from a legend, this event is for you.
Saturday, 27th August
Ages 4–13: 09:00–11:30
Ages 14+ and Seniors: 11:30–16:00 (with lunch break at approx. 13:00)
Sunday, 28th August
Ages 13+: 09:30–16:00
Please arrive 30 minutes early to check in and be in full judogi, ready on the mat by the start time.
A 45-minute lunch break will take place around 13:00. On-site catering is available, but food options may be limited with long queues. Bringing a packed lunch is strongly recommended.
Official event T-shirts: £15 (all sizes, limited stock)
A3 signed event posters for clubs: £5 each
Spectators welcome at no charge, but must remain quiet during instruction
Photography is encouraged (non-intrusive only)
No personal video recording is permitted. Ultimate Judo will be filming the event professionally for archival and promotional purposes.
Clean judogi required
Trimmed fingernails and toenails
Appropriate footwear off the mat (flip-flops or trainers)
Respect for instructors, participants, and the dojo environment
Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Coaches: For license revalidation, please sign both the coaching attendance sheet and the regular check-in list. Your JudoScotland membership number will be required.
