Michihiro Omigawa is an ex-Japanese National Judo team member and MMA star, having competed at the top levels of both disciplines including UFC where he fought fighters like Chad Mendes.

Omigawa sensei will be covering his Tokui waza, or favourite techniques, across 3 age groups:

4- 8 years

9-12 years 

13 years and adults.

Due to popular demand, we will run our October holiday camps in week 1 of the Aberdeen state schools holidays.

Rio was the venue for one of the biggest upsets in modern Olympic Judo with relatively unknown judoka Fabio Basile having the day of his dreams.

Saturday 30th January, 4pm we have an amazing presentation talk and Q&A with Dr Jean Kanokogi, talking about the life and legacy of a very special lady in Judo, her mother Rusty Kanokogi.

As it is our 10th Anniversary in Aberdeen, this years masterclass brings Shinjiro Sasaki back to Aberdeen by popular demand. We will also be celebrating in style at the amazing Chester Hotel, Queens Road, Aberdeen with a gala dinner and dance to mark this milestone.
