ANGELO PARISI coming to Scotland
Judo Legend Angelo Parisi will be visiting Aberdeen on Sunday 24th June to hold a masterclass session. In the sessions he will show us the techniques which made him one of the best Judo players of his generation if not ever. Here are a few of his accolades:
1980 Olympic Gold
1980 Olympic Silver (open division)
1984 Olympic Silver
1972 Olympic Bronze
4 x European Champion and an impressive 10 times medallist
He has also won medals at most of the worlds top competitions during what is widely regarded as the Golden Era for Judo. Angelo now lives in Italy.
Sunday 24th June 2018:
4-13 years: 1030-1200 plus 30 mins photogrpahs and autographs
14 years to senior: 1330-1630
Start: Please allow 30 minutes to check in and get changed. We would like everyone to be in full judo gi with belts tied ready for the start time.
Can I please ask that all participants have clean Judo Gi, trimmed finger and toe nails and wear appropriate footwear off the mat (flip flops or trainers) please do not walk about off the mats with bare feet.
We have event tshirts for sale on the day £15 for all sizes. These will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.
All Children will receive a free signed event poster.
We encourage parents, family, team mates and friends to stay and watch the session. This is totally free of charge but we ask that when Sensei Parisi is talking that the spectators are silent as noise can be distracting. Please feel free to take as many photos as you like during the day (as long as not being intrusive to the class). Please share any good photos of the day with us for our historic records and website etc.
COACHES: We are hoping to obtain a revalidation license for this event. I will keep you posted on this.
