27/28 August 2016 - WE HAVE MOVED VENUE TO JUDO SCOTLAND DOJO, SOUTH PLATT HILL, RATHO.
Korean judo legend Ki Young JEON is coming to Scotland. He plans to show us what made him so dominant in the World of Judo through his fighting career and also what the Korean team are doing which makes them oneof the top countries in Judo today.
This is definitely not to be missed and is suitable for all ages and abilities. Everyone will take something away from this inspirational Judo ka.
Sensei JEON will also just be back fro the Rio Olympics where he is commentsting for Korean NAtional TV so will share his experiences and thoughts about Rio.
This event will be on a first come, first served basis. Any club wishing to reserve spaces are free to do so by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org. These spaces will be reserved for 3 weeks.

Lunch: We will stop for lunch around 1300 for 45 mins. Catering is available on site but judging by last previous years will be a limited menu and potentially high queues. Please feel free to bring a packed lunch.
Finish: 1600 The session will finish about 1530 to allow time for photographs and autographs.
Can I please ask that all participants have clean Judo Gi, trimmed finger and toe nails and wear appropriate footwear off the mat (flip flops or trainers) please do not walk about off the mats with bare feet.
We have event tshirts for sale on the day £15 for all sizes. These will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.
We also have specially designed event posters for your clubs which will be signed by JEON available in A3 format at £5 each.
We encourage parents, family, team mates and friends to stay and watch the session. This is totally free of charge but we ask that when Sensei Jeon is talking that the spectators are silent as noise can be distracting for the participants and coaches (and Jeon). Please feel free to take as many photos as you like during the day (as long as not being intrusive to the class). Please share any good photos of the day with us for our historic records and website etc.
Sensei Jeon asks that no one videos the event. The superstars that we bring across do these seminars across the World and feel that snippets of the courses found on youtube and social media don’t always do them justice without the context of the session being shown. Ultimate Judo will be taking video of the day for our use after the event.
COACHES: Can all coaches looking to use the event for revalidation purposes please make sure that you sign in on the coaching sheet as well as normal check in. you will need to know your JS membership number.
As always if you have any questions regarding the event, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
*** Please note that all entries are non-refundable ***
This is a privately run event so please direct any enquiries to the details below and not to the Judo Scotland offices
